University of Kerala: M.Phil in Nano Biology

The Centre for Nanoscience and Nanotechnology was formally inaugurated in the University of Kerala as part of the ‘Suvarna Kerala’ celebrations on 12th December 2006 by the Hon’ble Minister for Sports and Youth Welfare, Sri. M.Vijayakumar.

Eligibility:

• IInd Class Masters Degree in Nano Science and Nano Technology/ Biochemistry/ Biotechnology/ Botany/ Zoology/ Micro Biology.
• Candidates who have scored not less than 55% marks for postgraduation in Medicine/ Pharmacology/ Veterinary Science/ Dentistry are also eligible to apply.
• SC/ST candidates are eligible for relaxation in marks.

Selection process: Selection will be based on the marks scored in Postgraduation and in the entrance examination (50:50).

How to apply: Application forms can be obtained from the office of the Centre for Nano Science and Nano Technology, Kariavattom by submitting either a Chellan for Rs. 25 or a Demand Draft for Rs. 35 , drawn in favour of, The Finance Officer, University of Kerala payable at Trivandrum (from SBT/ SBI/ DCB).
