Qualifications & Eligibility: 1) The Candidate Should be a Citizen of India
2) The Candidate for Category A should have passed SSC and for Category B, he should have passed VII class.
3) Should have Satisfactory Character and antecedents
4) Should be Medically Fit
5) Candidate shall be Native of Marine Fishing villages in respective Districts as per Marine Fisheries Census 2010. (List of Marine Fishing Villages as per Marine Fisheries Census 2010 conducted by Department of Animal Husbandry, dairying & Fisheries, Ministry of Agriculture, Govt. of India, New Delhi is given in Annexure – II of the Brochure)
6) Candidate shall be from Fishing Community as mentioned in G.O.Ms No.98 Revenue Department, Andhra Pradesh dated: 22.01.1964, G.O.Ms.No.1793, Education Department, Dated: 23.09.1970 and Proceedings of Commission for Backward Classes. (List of Local

Fishing Communities as per above mentioned GO and Proceedings is given in Annexure –III of the Brochure)
7) For Category A, Preference will be given to the Candidates having experience in Boat driving /Navigation /seamanship/ seafaring skills and having certificates in this regard from recognized training institutes
Height: (I) Candidate Should be minimum of 165cms in Height for category-A (II) Candidates should be minimum of 160cms in case of category –B
Application Fee: Candidates can obtain application form and Brochure by paying Rs.25/- through Postal order/Demand Draft in favour of SP/CP of the concerned district/unit
Application Form and Brochure: Application forms along with Brochures for Coastal Security Police Home Guards will be available from the date of notification at the following District Police Offices and Coastal Security Police Stations as mention in the notification
How to apply: Eligible Candidates shall apply in Prescribed application format and submit the same induplicate along with all enclosures (as mentioned in application form) on any working day between 01 -12-2012 to 07 -12-2012 between10.00 am to 1.00 pm at the respective District Police office and / or Coastal Security Police Stations. Incomplete application forms and applications submitted without required enclosures/ certificates will be rejected.
