Short term course @ Indian Institute for Human Settlements (IIHS)
IIHS introducing 5 day course for students and working professionals to identify and address key issues of environmental sustainability that Indian cities are facing currently.

Indian Institute for Human Settlements (IIHS) is a national education institution committed to the equitable, sustainable and efficient transformation of Indian settlements

Short course: “Urban India & Environmental Sustainability” 

Conducted by: Indian Institute for Human Settlements (IIHS)

Objective of the course: It will serve as a platform for participants to discuss their own approaches to sustainability, and grapple with challenges they face in their own practice.

Who can join? It is open for undergraduates, postgraduates, and working professionals with less than five years of experience from all disciplines, while individuals with backgrounds in architecture, planning, sociology, anthropology, geography, political science, environmental sciences and social work are encouraged to attend.

Selection process: Participants will be selected through a two-stage screening procedure comprising the admission form and an interview, if required. 

Course Fee:
  • For working professionals: Rs. 10,000
  • For students: Rs, 6000
Course duration: From January 6 to January 10, 2012 

Timings: 9 am to 5:30 pm
