JRF: National Brain Research Centre (NBRC), Manesar

The National Brain Research Centre is a neuroscience research group, situated in Manesar, Haryana. It is an Autonomous Government Institute accredited with the deemed university status and is a nodal center under Department of Biotechnology of the Ministry of Science and Technology, Government of India.

Walk-in-Interview: For the post of Junior Research Fellow on Feb. 1, 2012, in a project funded by Indian Council of Medical Research.

Emoluments: 16,000/- per month

Duration: The tenure will be for a period of 1 year and extendable on review and on mutual agreement. The post is co-terminus with the project. The selected candidate should abide by the rules and regulations of ICMR and NBRC.

Accommodation: Accommodation may be provided as per rules of NBRC and as per availability in the Hostel at NBRC Campus, Manesar.

Eligibility:

• Essential Qualification: M.Sc. in any branch of Life Science, with more than 60%. Experienc of working in R&D Laboratory. Experience with handling mammalian cell culture, basic molecular biology assays and experimentation is mandatory for project.
• Desirable requirements: Experience western blotting, PCR, Microscopy, handling and experimentation with and knowledge of primer designing, will be considered an added qualification.
