Mining (Foreman / Mate / Blaster)@ SAIL

1. Mining Foreman: 03 Posts
   Qualifications & Experience: Matriculation and Diploma in Mining along with Mining Foreman’s certificate of competency under MMR Act 1961 from the competent authority; and with at least one year post qualification experience in Open Cast Mines in the capacity of Mines Foreman.
2. Mining Mate: 05 Posts
   Qualifications & Experience: Matriculation along with Mining Mate’s certificate of competency under MMR Act 1961 from the competent authority; and with at least one year post qualification experience in Open Cast Mines in the capacity of Mining Mate.
3. Blaster: 02 Posts
   Qualifications & Experience: Matriculation with valid Blaster’s certificate or valid Mining Mate certificate of competency under MMR Act, 1961 from the competent authority. (Both restricted to Open Cast Mines) and with at least one year post qualification experience including experience of deep hole blasting in Open Cast Mines.
   
   Physical Standard (Male): Height: 155cms, Weight: 45Kgs, Chest (Expanded): 79cms & Chest (Un-expanded): 75cms, Eye Sight: 6/9 without glasses, Power of glasses not to exceed (+,-) 02.5 D. and Colour Vision: Normal (Colour blindness will be a disqualification).

Application & Processing Fee: Candidates can pay in Slip (SBI Challan) of Rs. 150/- for Mining Mate, Blaster and Rs. 250/- for Mining Foreman post as application and processing fee for General candidates. SC/ST candidates to possess pay in Slip of Rs. 50/- only as processing fee. The Pay in Slip (SBI Challan) is to be downloaded from the website after filling in the required details.
