Applications are invited from for recruitment to the post of Yantrik in the Indian Coast Guard, an Armed Force of the Union. Yantrik (Male): Qualifications: Matriculate and three years Diploma in Mechanical / Electrical / Electronic Engineering with 60% in aggregate from board / institute recognised by board of Central / State Government. (Maximum 5% relaxation in the above percentage for SC/ ST candidates, sports person of National level and wards of Coast Guard uniform personnel deceased while in service). Age: 18- 22 years (Born between 01 Feb 1992 to 31 Jan 1996). Upper age relaxation of 5 years for SC/ST and 3 years for OBC category candidates. Physical Standard: Height: Minimum height 157cms. Reduction in height for candidates from hilly areas and tribal areas will be in accordance with the Central Govt. orders. Chest: Should be well proportioned. Minimum expansion 5cms. Weight: Proportionate to height and age+ 10% acceptable. Hearing: Normal. Both copies of the print out of application duly signed with photograph are to be carried by the applicant to the recruitment centre.
